The Scholars Program identifies first generation college students who are at or near college-readiness benchmarks in the 8th grade and places them with specially-selected Mentor Teachers, who stay with Scholars throughout their high school careers.
Business partners work with Scholars once each month on skills needed for success in college and in the work world such as importance of grades and taking difficult classes, community service, leadership, personal financial literacy and many more areas.
Scholars visit post-secondary school campuses every year they are in high school for maximum exposure to educational opportunities.
